About the event
Bandstand Summer Concerts are Back!
The Clear Lake Bandstand turned 100 last summer, and The Clear Lake Historical Museum, along with a group of local enthusiasts, hosted concerts on 6 dates throughout the summer. We are thrilled to announce that summer concerts will continue in 2024! This year, entertainment will include local bands and vocalists, from students to adults, as well as student dancers. There will be food, pop, ice cream, cotton candy, and guaranteed fun for the whole family. Admission is free! Bring your lawn chair or blanket, as seating is not provided. We look forward to a fun-filled summer!
Donations Welcome! While many are donating time and energy into this epic event, it still takes funds to make it happen. Your generous donations to the bandstand concerts and the CL Museum are also tax deductible! Donations can be sent to P.O. Box 2, Clear Lake, WI 54005

The Good Neighbors Ukulele Circle is a local group based in Amery, ranging in age from 8 to 80. They share a love of good music and are sure to bring smiles to the faces in the crowd as well. Started in 2017 by Lori Peper, it has quickly grown to many who believe “Uke can do it!” The ukulele with its bright and uplifting sounds is often associated with cheerful vibes. Think: Hawaiian music. When a group of ukulele performers plays together, the combined effect is an overwhelmingly positive and joyful atmosphere. The high-pitched, resonant sound of multiple ukuleles in harmony creates a light-hearted ambience that is difficult to replicate with other instruments.
The New Midnight Coal Company is a father and sons band out of Clayton, Wi, who play traditional bluegrass music. They ended our 2023 Concert season with an incredible performance and will open this year’s concert season on Thursday, May 23 at 7 pm. They are known for their fast-paced, traditional bluegrass and family harmonies. The overwhelming response to last summer’s performance was, “you’ve GOT to have them back!”
In addition to all of the wonderful entertainers, the 2024 Bandstand committee includes: Michael Larson, Dawn Peterson, Lori DeBoer, Jack Eastman, Karen Pederson, Nancy Engel, Tim Wyss, Ray Cress, Joe Sauer, and Wendy Schoggins.
Special thanks to Toombs Septic for providing porta-potties and handwashing stations for our events all summer long, and to the Fall family for allowing us to have them on their property.
